Ethics for Medical Professionals is organized by University of California, San Diego School of Medicine (UCSD) Physician Assessment and Clinical Education Program (PACE) and will be held from May 02 - 03, 2026.
Course Description:
A comprehensive two-day professional ethics program designed specifically for physicians, with engaging, case-based curriculum.
This ethics course is presented by experienced faculty and incorporates didactic and experiential elements, and an in-depth review of guidelines and ethical codes that define the safe and ethical practice of medicine. Class sizes are limited to 12 participants.
Each participant develops their own Maintenance of Accountability and Professionalism (MAP) Plan with faculty and peer group support. This plan informs their participation in peer MAP groups to solidify key learnings at follow-ups at 6 and 12 months after completing the two-day course.

The University of California, San Diego School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of California, San Diego School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 22 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
