OVERVIEW

ESMO Asia Virtual Congress 2020 Industry Satellite Symposium - Leveraging Novel Antibody-Drug Conjugates in a World of Evolving Treatment Paradigms: A Pan-Tumor Perspective is organized by Physicians' Education Resource, LLC (PER).

Date: Saturday, 21 November 2020
Time: 12:00 - 13:30 SGT

Accreditation/Credit Designation:
Physicians' Education Resource®, LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Description:
The targeting of tumor cell surface antigens remains a key therapeutic approach in oncology. Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) combine the specificity of a tumor-targeting antibody with a cytotoxic payload. Several ADCs have been approved, with additional agents in development, which target an expanding range of tumor antigens, including HER2, HER3, and Trop-2, as well as several other molecules. The expanding therapeutic options provided by ADCs create an educational need for physicians to learn about how to optimize the use of these agents in clinical practice, as well as best approaches for biomarker assessment and management of adverse events.

Leveraging Novel Antibody-Drug Conjugates in a World of Evolving Treatment Paradigms: A Pan-Tumor Perspective will feature Asian and other global experts in breast, lung, and gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies, and will begin with a rapid overview of key concepts in ADCs, including therapeutic targets and biomarker testing. The expert faculty will address approvals and clinical data illustrating areas of potential application for ADCs in specific tumor types. Potential combinations and future treatment approaches with ADCs will also be discussed. Be sure to join us for this exciting symposium illustrating how ADCs can improve care for your patients.

Benefits of Attending:
• Learn about potential new applications for ADCs in solid tumors
• Hear expert perspectives on managing adverse events associated with ADC therapy
• Integrate cutting-edge therapies for your patients with breast, lung, or GI tumors

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Determine the rationale underlying the use of antibody-drug conjugates in solid tumors
• Apply  optimized HER2-testing strategies to facilitate molecular characterization of solid tumors
• Evaluate ongoing clinical trials and evolving data sets for novel antibody-drug conjugate targeted therapies across solid tumors
• Integrate novel antibody-drug conjugate approaches into care for patients with a variety of solid tumor types
