FRCR Part 1 (Radiology): Physics Exam Preparation Course 2026 is organized by The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and will be held from Jul 08 - 15, 2026.

Event description:
Our comprehensive two-day course is designed for UK and international candidates preparing for the FRCR Part 1 Physics (Radiology) exam who are looking to consolidate their understanding of fundamental physics topics and practise exam-style questions.

Delivered by an expert faculty of medical physicists, clinical radiologists and recent successful exam candidates, the programme explores high-yield topics across the curriculum. These include: matter and radiation, MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, digital imaging, legislation and safety, and nuclear medicine. Each lecture incorporates MCQ practice and live Q&A sessions, giving you direct access to expert knowledge and practical exam insights.

Learning outcomes:
By the end of the course, you will be able to:  

  1. Identify and explain fundamental physics principles relevant to radiology and the FRCR Part 1 exam
  2. Identify the core topics that are frequently assessed in the FRCR Part 1 Physics exam 
  3. Use core physics knowledge to navigate exam-style multiple-choice questions.
