CPD Masterclass: Practice Management, Law, Ethics and Risk Management

CPD Masterclass: Practice Management, Law, Ethics and Risk Management is organized by Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and will be held on May 13, 2023.

Overview: 
This unit will focus on the statutory regulations, the importance of patient consent in dental treatment, and the fundamental techniques and processes necessary to guarantee that the patients' legal and ethical rights are always respected. Those individuals who are going to be attending the core module Practice Management, Law, Ethics, and Risk Management will notably benefit from the strong foundation that the masterclass provides for the MRACDS(GDP) program requirement.

Learning Outcomes: 
• Know the basics of dental practice management and law and be able to apply it to your practice
• Understand the ethics of the dentist-patient relationship, patient confidentiality, and the need to obtain informed consent
• Understand risk management
