Conflicts of Interest in Healthcare: Opportunities for Self-Reflection and Action is organized by The New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS) and will be held from Mar 10 - 11, 2021.

Description:
Be it an individual or an institution, a for-profit enterprise or a non-profit organization, all participants in healthcare are susceptible to conflict of interest. This event will explore the current landscape and effectiveness of conflict-mitigating efforts, and propose meaningful opportunities for change. Following a crash course on bias, the discussions will dive into individual and institutional conflicts. Conversations will center on the questions of how—and whether—private and public partnerships should exist.
