This session takes a closer look at how payer contracting details, documentation habits, and coding decisions shape reimbursement outcomes and influence audit risk. Rather than focusing on theory, the discussion centers on what actually goes wrong, including where revenue is lost. Participants will walk through practical examples that show how small changes in documentation and workflow can lead to cleaner claims and stronger, more defensible records.
We will also explore how PAs can work more effectively with revenue cycle and compliance teams. When those relationships are aligned, organizations are more transparent, better positioned to protect revenue, and can respond confidently to audits.This is your opportunity to advocate!
