The menopause transition and migraine:

• Migraine becomes more prevalent during perimenopause often occurring perimenstrually. Migraine is also associated with increased likelihood of vasomotor symptoms. But what effect does HRT have on migraine? Can women with migraine aura take HRT? In this session we will explore the effect of the menopause transition on migraine and implications for management.

Oral HRT: Enhancing your Menopause Treatment Toolkit:

• This session will be a comprehensive review of the risks and benefits of oral HRT. Helping clinicians to tailor HRT choices to the individual patient; deciding when oral HRT might be a useful option, and when to avoid.

Progestogens for endometrial protection – which one do you prescribe?

• Are you confused about the different progestogen options? In this session we will discuss who needs a progestogen, what products are available and the recommended doses depending on the dose of estrogen. We will also look at the possible risks and side-effects and how to manage them.
