AO Spine Research Webinar - Degenerative cervical myelopathy (DCM): Current Perspectives and Future Directions for Clinical Practice and Research is organized by AO Spine International and will be held on Dec 04, 2020.

Description:
Degenerative cervical myelopathy (DCM) is a common condition, which, despite treatment, will leave most with disabilities: research progress is urgently needed to improve outcomes.

While there has been significant progress in our understanding of the disease, recently consolidated in international guidelines, there remains substantial ongoing disability.

AO Spine RECODE-DCM [Research Objectives and Common Data Elements for Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy] is a multi-stakeholder, co-production initiative, led by the AO Spine Spinal Cord Injury Knowledge Forum, which has included a James Lind Alliance priority setting partnership to establish the top unanswered research questions, ranked according to priority.

This webinar aims to update participants on both the latest advances in evidence for clinical practice and highlight key ongoing uncertainties that should be priority research areas for our community.
