American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA) 78th Annual Meeting is organized by American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA) and will be held from Apr 29 - May 01, 2021.

Accreditation:
Designation Statement: ACPA designates this educational activity for a maximum of 67.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association:
This program is offered for up to 6.70 ASHA CEUs (Various Levels, Professional Area).

Nursing Continuing Professional Development:
This educational activity is offered for up to 67 nursing contact hours.

Description:
ACPA’s Annual Meeting is a general scientific meeting with more than 300 presentations. The program will include a variety of topics related to cleft and craniofacial care through general and specialty sessions, poster sessions, panel presentations, short courses and more.

The meeting also includes networking opportunities and social events, where you will have the chance to connect with attendees in multiple disciplines from across the globe and discuss new and old ideas with those experienced in the field.

The goal of all accredited education developed by ACPA is to improve individual performance of learners and to effectively improve patient health outcomes. The impact of ACPA’s accredited education activities is evaluated by measuring changes in knowledge and competence, and when appropriate, collecting self-reported change(s) in performance.

Educational Objectives:
• Each learner will be able to discuss new topics and advancements in research, clinical and team driven care of patients with cleft and craniofacial anomalies.
• Each learner will be able to identify and consider various clinical techniques, research findings, and improvements in team care for affected individuals.
• Each learner will be able to explain the challenges of outcomes reporting, team coordination, and managing patient treatment and considering possible solutions.
• Each learner will be able to incorporate ideas learned from colleagues across multiple disciplines, teams and locations to better serve their patients through team care.
