Description:
The ABAIM AI in Medicine Introductory Course is a comprehensive, two-day course on basic concepts in artificial intelligence in clinical medicine and healthcare designed by a team of clinician-data scientists as well as clinicians with an AI focus and data scientists who are involved in healthcare. This course is for all who are interested in having an overall review of concepts and applications in artificial intelligence in clinical medicine and healthcare.
About the course:
- It is recommended that attendees read Chapters 1-5 of Intelligence-Based Medicine prior to the course. A digital copy of this textbook is provided.
- The format is “flipped” in that much of the review will be faculty discussing (not presenting) slides
- In addition, the attendees are encouraged to ask questions throughout the sessions
- Attendees are encouraged (but not required) to take a “pre” and “post” review course practice assessment. Each has 50 questions.
- After the course, student who purchase the “Review Course and Certification” option may take the Introductory Educational Certification at any time.
- The Educational Certification is conducted via our website. It is comprised of 110 questions with a two-hour time limit.
- Students who purchase the “Review Course and Certification” package will have two attempts to pass the Introductory Educational Certification
- You may also purchase a “Certification Only” attempt without the course. Certification Only registrations receive one attempt to pass the Educational Certification.
