Description:
The Mid-Year Forum is one of the Academy’s most significant yearly meetings, bringing the ophthalmology community together to discuss politics, policy, and practice management.
Mid-Year Forum 2021: Virtual, Free and Open to All Academy and AAOE Members:
They are going virtual in 2021 with two half-day sessions:
• Friday, April 23 - 11a.m. – 2:45p.m. PT / 2p.m. – 5:45p.m. ET
• Saturday, April 24 - 8a.m. – 11a.m. PT / 11a.m. – 2p.m. ET
Congressional Advocacy Day:
The Academy is bringing the opportunity directly to ophthalmologists to advocate for patients and the profession during our Virtual Congressional Advocacy Day on Wednesday, May 5.
The Academy will schedule all meetings and provide training materials to prepare you for a successful virtual meeting, including a full issue briefing and talking points on the Academy’s key issues.
Academy Council Meeting:
The Spring Council Meeting will convene virtually on Saturday, April 24, Noon-3:30p.m. PT / 3-6p.m. ET after a one-hour break following the close of Mid-Year Forum 2021.
