OVERVIEW

All About the Data - Leveraging Metrics to Build Partnerships is organized by Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) and will be held on Sep 18, 2024.

Description:
Data is a valuable tool in building relationships in eye, tissue and organ donation. Speakers discuss how their organizations collect, use and share data to build relationships with donation partners and to promote ocular donation. Jessica Bramow, the Database Administrator at Iowa Lions Eye Bank, discusses how she uses Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to collect data and track trends, and highlights the information that is collected and how that information is used at ILEB. Annie Kuhl, Chief Communications Officer at Saving Sight, shares how her team tracks and shares data and then uses the data that is collected to build partnerships, educate donation partners, promote the eye bank and ocular donation, and establish relationships with volunteers and the community.

Attendees will learn:
• How data is collected at different eye banks
• The key metrics to track
• Methods for sharing data with donation partners
• Different ways to visually represent data
• Lessons in establishing a data reporting system
• Best practices for collecting and sharing data and metrics

The session will conclude with a dynamic question and answer session moderated by Jerilyn Giardina, Chair of the Donor, Partner and Community Relations Committee and Executive Vice President at AltruVision. Attend this session to learn more about using data and metrics to build relationships and promote ocular donation!
