Program Overview:
Get up-to-date on basic principles of patients' medical and surgical management with intestinal failure and recognition of patients needing intestinal transplantation during this program. The faculty will present a virtual education event that focuses on intestinal rehabilitation and transplant. We will also discuss the current medical, surgical, and nutritional care strategies of patients with intestinal failure and transplant. Presentations also include practical interventions for routine care and information on long-term outcomes, along with opportunities for questions and discussion.
