Acupuncture for Insomnia: Bridging Classical Theory and Modern Science is organized by Healthy Seminars and will be held on Jan 27, 2026.
Description:
This course examines insomnia through both Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern neurophysiology. Students learn how imbalance of Yin and Yang, Qi and Blood, and organ systems disrupts the Shén and produces sleeplessness. Through theory, diagnosis, and acupuncture point application, participants explore how treatment harmonizes the Heart, Liver, Spleen, and Kidney to restore rest. Modern research on neurotransmitters, HRV, and brain networks is integrated to bridge ancient principles with evidence-based practice.
