7th Annual Duke Fellows Advanced Vitreous Surgery (fAVS) Course: Virtual Edition Session 1 is organized by Medical Conference Planners International (MCPI) and will be held on Apr 01, 2021. This is the first of three sessions.

Description:
The 7th Annual Duke fAVS Course: Virtual Edition - Session 1 will focus on how to shape your retina career. It will feature talks on how to make the most out of your fellowship (Tarek S. Hassan, MD), scientific idea to product roadmap (David Zacks, MD, PhD), dry AMD therapeutics (Eleonora M. Lad, MD, PhD), private equity (Robert L. Avery, MD), tips for success for junior faculty (Joan W. Miller, MD), vitreoretinal surgical instrumentation (Lejla Vajzovic, MD), and economics in VR surgery (Adrienne W. Scott, MD). There will be an engaging panel about job searching with outstanding moderators and panelists. This course will be followed by a one-hour symposium hosted by Allergan, Inc.
