7th Annual Duke Fellows Advanced Vitreous Surgery (fAVS) Course: Virtual Edition Session 2 is organized by Medical Conference Planners International (MCPI) and will be held on Apr 15, 2021. This is the second of three sessions.

Description:
The 7th Annual Duke fAVS Course: Virtual Edition – Session 2 will focus on retina practice pearls. It will feature talks on new drugs in the AMD and DME pipeline (Glenn J. Jaffe, MD), gene therapy for retinal diseases (Allen C. Ho, MD), contract negotiations (John W. Kitchens, MD), financial mistakes not to commit during your retina career (Timothy G. Murray, MD, MBA), and compassionomics: the science and practice of caring (Mark W. Johnson, MD). There will be engaging panels on pediatric retina and ocular oncology, as well as a surgical retina panel, featuring fellows’ case submissions, with outstanding moderators and panelists. This course will be followed by a one-hour symposium hosted by Genentech, Inc.
