The Inova Office of Continuing Medical Education assigns this live educational activity for a maximum of 48.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians will earn the credit commensurate based on the extent of their participation in the activity.
Physicians may earn up to 48.25 credits in Type 1 CME on the Virginia Board of Medicine Continued Competency and Assessment Form required for renewal of an active medical license in Virginia.
Course Description:
This extensive, virtual five-day course begins with two days of neuroimaging followed by three days of neuropathology that offers high-level education to residents and physician participants who want to increase their knowledge about pathology and radiology in the neurosciences.

• Dr. Kenneth M. Earle Memorial Neuropathology Review (Wednesday, January 13 – Friday, January 15, 2021)
Course Objectives:
• Plan for initial certification or re-certification of neurology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, and neuropathology board exams
• Analyze and combine principles of neuropathology and neuroradiology into diagnosis and treatment
• Review differential diagnoses of neurological abnormalities on imaging or histology
• Improve procedures to manage diseases of the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves
