Almost 2,000 healthcare professionals from Asia-Pacific region will attend the meeting to learn, interact, network, and explore the latest advances in infectious diseases and antimicrobial agents and resistance.
The ISAAR (International Symposium on Antimicrobial Agents and Resistance) has been organized by the Asia Pacific Foundation for Infectious Diseases (APFID) biennially since 1997. It is the Asia Pacific region's largest international symposium and has become the most representative international meeting on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and development of novel antibiotics and vaccines.
ISAAR 2021 under the theme “Navigating Uncharted Waters: Antimicrobial Resistance in the Era of Pandemic” brings together to virtual congress venue to share information and updated knowledge on the latest trends in the epidemiology and mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance, treatment of antimicrobial-resistant bacterial and fungal infections, diagnostic microbiology, vaccines, HIV infection, infection prevention & control, antimicrobial stewardship, and COVID-19.
As there is no limit to audience capacity, we are expecting a substantially higher-than-usual number of registrants to our virtual conference, ISAAR 2021. It will be characterized by a more informative, stimulating, and exciting program with 6 plenary keynote lectures, 12 main scientific sessions, 9 industry-organized Satellite Symposia, poster presentations, and large industrial exhibition.
