Mission:
The Canadian Comprehensive Review Course in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation was created in 2000 as a joint collaborative between the University of Alberta and the University of Toronto, with the goal of providing a forum for a complete overview and review of the diverse clinical content within this specialty. This course brings together the basics of musculoskeletal and neuroanatomy with the core clinical presentations and evidence-based management of conditions seen by specialists in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, utilizing national experts to deliver high quality content for all participants. This course remains a non-profit event, and the organizers strive for continued improvements in the quality and relevance of course content and delivery, based on participant feedback. This course is intended to give an up-to-date review of relevant information for graduating Canadian PM&R residents. It also provides the opportunity to consolidate learning and assist in preparing these senior resident physicians for transition to real-world practice. The Review Course is also an opportunity for residents from across Canada to meet each other, form lasting friendships, and strengthen our national PM&R community.
