The RadioGraphics article is designed as self-assessment CME features and their ascertaining tests is to enhance understanding of the radiologic characteristics and viable therapeutic options for a mixture of pathologic conditions and basic physics principles.

• Recognize characteristic imaging characteristics of gallstones and other gallbladder conditions, including infection and malignancy.
• Consider the dual-energy CT acquisition and postprocessing principles relevant to imaging the gallbladder.
• Define how dual-energy CT can be utilised to improve the detection of gallbladder disease by means of qualitative interpretation of iodine map, virtual nonenhanced image, and virtual monochromatic image findings.
