- Define medical error, differentiating preventable from non-preventable
- Define root cause analysis and know its use in preventing medical errors
- Determine which adverse event-associated injuries must be reported to the Florida AHCA within 15 days of occurrence
- Identify the root causes for the six most common types of sentinel events
- Identify the five most misdiagnosed medical conditions in the state of Florida
