Emergency Neuroradiology is organized by Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and will be held during Mar 09, 2018 - Mar 08, 2021. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Description :
Refresher Courses are recorded courses captured at past RSNA Annual Meetings. Most courses include an audio-visual presentation, as well as a corresponding transcript. The online Refresher Courses are free to members.

Conference Objectives are :
• Develop a systematic approach to evaluating patients with head and neck infections.
• Recognize head and neck emergencies that result in morbidity and mortality presenting as fever, trauma, difficulty breathing, and bleeding.
• Discuss Differential diagnosis for "found down" patient.
• Choose the best imaging for each patient.
• Recognize imaging findings that will acutely change patient management.
• Develop a "checklist" for imaging to improve your ability to identify significant findings.
• Summarize the role of imaging in the assessment of acute neurologic emergencies.
• Apply an evidence-based approach to devise effective and efficient neuroimaging algorithms.
• Describe technological advances in CT and MRI as they relate to imaging acute neuro-vascular and traumatic injuries to the brain.
• Recognize imaging predictors in outcome assessment of cerebral hemorrhage and acute stroke.
