Conference Objectives are :
After completing the material in this article, the learner should be able to:
• Recognize the standard normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology of the superficial and deep lower leg venous system;
• Understand the details of a complete and dedicated Doppler ultrasound examination of the lower extremity veins;
• Recognize the different changes in appearances of diseased lower extremity veins both before and after treatment.
