Description:
Collecting sufficient family history information is an important step in identifying patients who are at increased cancer risk and, therefore, may need increased screening. Most patient intake forms do not collect specific enough information about the conditions in the family to allow you to assess risk appropriately.In this course, you will watch a short video that demonstrates collecting information for a targeted family history. You will practice asking the right questions to elicit enough information to assess family history disease risk and use tools to help make this task easy to implement in your practice.
