• identify that there is a high incidence of subclinical leaflet thrombosis in TAVR and SAVR valves.
• recognize the value of 4D CT and echocardiography in diagnosis of leaflet thrombosis in SAVR and TAVR valves.
• demonstrate the value of tailored anticoagulation therapy for selected patients with aortic valve thrombosis.
• categorize patients who are at greater risk for thromb-embolic complications after leaflet thrombosis of SAVR or TAVR valves.
• justify the more aggressive use of 4D CT in diagnosis and management of patients with leaflet thrombosis.
