Abnormalities of the Distal Common Bile Duct and Ampulla: Diagnostic Approach and Differential Diagnosis Using Multiplanar Reformations and 3D Imaging is organized by American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and will be held during Jun 23, 2014 - Jun 22, 2020.

The target audience for this medical event is readers of the AJR, radiologists, radiologists-in-training, and other health professionals with an interest in multiplanar reformations and 3D imaging. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).

Conference Objectives are :
After completing the material in this article, the learner should be able to:
• Understand proper CT protocol design in patients with suspected pancreaticobiliary pathology;
• Understand the importance of utilizing multiplanar reformations and 3D imaging when evaluating the distal common bile duct and ampulla, particularly when imaging a patient with jaundice or a suspected obstructing mass; and
• Discuss the differential diagnosis for abnormalities resulting in distal common bile duct/ampullary obstruction (with or without pancreatic ductal dilatation).
