Oslo University Body and self-esteem: Expertise program on eating disorders is organized by Oslo University Hospital - Regional section eating disorders programme (RASP) and will be held during Jan 25 - 26, 2018 at Oslo University Hospital, Oslo, Norway. Conference Description : The aim of the education is to provide health professionals with clinical skills in the field of eating disorders. Furthermore, an emphasis is placed on the development and development of local academic environments. The competence program focuses specifically on therapists such as psychologists, physicians, health and social science college educated health professionals, Physiotherapists and educators, clinical nutritionists and others. Candidates will receive the clinical guidance of their own patients with eating disorders. The first meeting with patients in primary care is considered treatment. The competence program covers three semesters with a total of 17 days of instruction and guidance. The duration of the program is approximately 1.5 years, depending on the placement of course days and supervision. These are divided into 11 seminars and 6 guide days. Course certificates are issued after 80% attendance at the lectures and 100% attendance on supervision. The supervisors have extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders and have supervisor skills. Cancer in General Practice - from Prevention to Palliation is organized by Oslo University Hospital HF - Regional Competence Service for Relief Treatment (KLB), Health South East and will be held during Feb 01 - 02, 2018 at Oslo University Hospital, Oslo, Norway. The target audience for this medical event is doctors in general practice, but the course is also relevant to other doctors working with cancer patients in other contexts. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 16 hours. Conference Description : This conference is held in collaboration with the Norwegian Medical Association, the Department for Cancer Treatment at the Regional Competence Service for Relief Treatment (KLB) organizes courses in cancer specially adapted to the general practitioner. Conference Objective : General practitioners have gained an increasing role in cancer treatment and in the follow-up of cancer patients. The course provides updated knowledge about cancer and cancer treatment focusing on the challenges that general practitioners meet in today's healthcare system. Prominent Clinical Cancer Researchers and Clinicians will lecture on, among other things, prevention, screening, acute oncology, symptom relief, mental disorders, side effects, interaction and social security.
