5th International Conference on Public Health & Society 2019 is organized by International Center for Research & Development (ICRD) and will be held from Oct 17 - 18, 2019 at Hotel Himalaya, Kathmandu, Madhyamanchal, Nepal. Global health plays an increasingly crucial role in global security and the security of the world population. As the world and its economies become increasingly globalized, including extensive international travel and commerce, it is necessary to think about health in a global context. The International Conference on Global Public Health 2019 is held every 1-3 years by the International Center for Research & Development, Sri Lanka and it attracts between 50--150 delegates from 35-50 countries. The Conference serves as an international forum for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on key public health issues, contributing towards promoting public health at a national, regional and global level. Description: The Wilderness Medical Society and our prestigious Nepal partner, Wongchhu Peak Promotion, invite you to join us for a once in a lifetime CME adventure this fall. This trip will include a combination of luxury accommodations, camping, and sightseeing excursions including temples, museums and monuments. The highlight of the trip will be the inauguration of the Wongcchu Memorial Hospital on October 20. Objectives: This course is designed to educate participants in the pathophysiology, recognition and treatment of a variety of medical problems commonly encountered in wilderness environments and settings remote from hospital or definitive care.
