CME Credits Required : 25.00 | Licensing Cycle AMA PRA : 1 Years | Category Credits : 25.00

MD- 
● 25 AMA PRA Category 1 credit per year, from the “Alabama Board of Medical Examiners”. 
● 2 AMA PRA Category 1 mandatory credits for every 2 years for Alabama Controlled Substance Certificate holders in,
   - Controlled substance prescribing practices
   - Identifying the alarming signs of controlled substance misuse and,
   - Prescribing controlled substances for chronic pain management.

Renewal

License renewal information:
Annual, by December 31; Effective May 25, 2012, grace period (January 1 through January 31)
