Learning Objectives:

  1. Know interventions for overactive bladder including behavioral modifications, medication management and advanced therapies.
  2. Describe stress urinary incontinence diagnosis and management.
  3. Understand recurrent UTI and bladder pain, including diagnosis, evaluation and management of complex cases.
  4. Increased understanding of prolapse diagnosis, surgical interventions and post-op complications.
  5. Understand urodynamics including interpretation and troubleshooting.
  6. Describe medical weight management and appreciate treatment of other endocrine conditions in the postmenopausal patient.
  7. Understand hormone management strategies for perimenopausal concerns.
  8. Describe pelvic anatomy relevant to pelvic floor disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction.
  9. Diagnose, evaluate, and manage pelvic floor dysfunction and vulvodynia.
  10. Understand diagnosis and treatment for IBS, fecal incontinence and other defecatory dysfunction.
