University of Southern California (USC) Diabetes Symposium 2026 is organized by Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) and will be held on Sep 19, 2026 at Catherine and Joseph Aresty Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, United States of America.

Description:
The USC Diabetes Symposium returns for its 5th year, continuing to provide exciting updates in the care of people with diabetes, as well as accompanying complications and comorbidities.

This hybrid program, offered in person and over virtual platform, presents updates in the field of diabetes and obesity management from experts in a variety of fields.

Highlighted are areas of advancement including updates to guideline-based medical therapy, incorporation of diabetes technology into care, care for individuals with end- stage kidney disease, treatment of obesity and metabolic liver disease with novel agents, addressing diabetes distress, and discussion of potential ocular complications of incretin therapy.

Objectives:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify patients who are candidates for cardio- and renal-protective medications.
  2. Know the benefits of diabetes technology.
  3. Treat obesity in the context of diabetes.
  4. Integrate strategies for reduction of diabetes distress.
