OVERVIEW

Marcus Neuroscience Institute Brain and Spine Symposium 2026 is organized by Baptist Health South Florida and will be held from May 14 - 15, 2026 at Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center, Boca Raton, Florida, United States of America.

Description:
The Marcus Neuroscience Institute Brain and Spine Symposium is a two-day academic event designed to assist attendees in expanding their knowledge of the latest advances in the field of neuroscience through didactic lectures, interactive panel discussions and case-based presentations.

The expert faculty will discuss the latest evidence-based practices in the care of brain and spine surgeries, interventional pain management, neurodegenerative diseases, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, epilepsy, and many more topics in the neurosciences.

This year’s session will focus on exploring the latest clinical innovations and collaborative approaches that are transforming care for brain and spine patients. The MNI Brain and Spine Symposium brings together a multidisciplinary audience - including primary care providers, nurses, neurosurgeons, spine specialists, and allied health professionals—to discuss the most current research and best practices in the field. This symposium emphasizes clinical excellence through evidence-based practices, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the integration of innovative technologies. Attendees will gain practical insights and actionable strategies designed to enhance patient outcomes across the continuum of care, with a focus on current research and best practices to guide effective surgical and non-surgical treatments for complex brain and spine disorders.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify emerging innovations transforming brain and spine care.
  • Describe how multidisciplinary collaboration improves surgical and non-surgical outcomes.
  • Apply evidence-based strategies (e.g., ERAS, metabolic optimization, technology integration) to enhance continuity of care.
  • Recognize the shared roles of neurosurgeons, primary care providers, nurses, and allied health professionals in optimizing recovery and long-term outcomes.
  • Identify therapies for the conservative management of chronic neck and back pain.
