Houston Hematology Satellite Symposia is organized by Physicians' Education Resource, LLC (PER) and will be held on Sep 10, 2026 at George R. Brown Convention Center, Houston, Texas, United States of America.
Session Details:
Navigating the Evolving Landscape of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Overview:
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) remains a challenging hematologic malignancy, particularly in adolescent, young adult, and older patient populations, where outcomes continue to lag behind those achieved in pediatric patients. Although recent advances in targeted therapies, immunotherapies, CAR T-cell therapies, and measurable residual disease (MRD) assessment have transformed the treatment landscape, clinicians face ongoing challenges in integrating rapidly evolving evidence, individualizing treatment strategies, and managing therapy-related toxicities.
This educational initiative will be delivered as a live, CME-certified hybrid satellite symposium held in conjunction with the 2026 Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO®) Annual Meeting in Houston, Texas. Through expert-led presentations and case-based discussions, the program will provide practical guidance on incorporating emerging therapies, optimizing MRD-driven treatment decisions, and applying the latest clinical data to improve outcomes for patients with ALL.

Medical Crossfire: Where CAR-T and Bispecific Antibodies Fit in Lymphoid Malignancies Today… and Tomorrow
Overview:
The management of lymphoid malignancies, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, and multiple myeloma, has been transformed by the rapid expansion of T-cell–engaging therapies. An ever-growing portfolio of FDA-approved and investigational CD19- and BCMA-directed CAR-T cell therapies, alongside an increasingly competitive array of bispecific antibodies, has introduced complex decisions around treatment selection, sequencing, and safety management as these therapies move earlier into treatment paradigms.
This live hybrid satellite symposium brings together expert faculty to debate where CAR-T and bispecific antibodies fit in the current and future treatment of lymphoid malignancies. Presented in the Medical Crossfire® format, the program uses case-based panel discussion to address key controversies in therapy selection and sequencing, real-world feasibility versus trial outcomes, and the comparative management of CAR-T- and bispecific-related toxicities.
