Course Objectives:
To review related physiology, pharmacology, agents and techniques that contribute to the art and science of anesthesiology. To discuss new agents, techniques, and controversies in the field, assisting the participant in preparing better patient care plans.

Lecture Objectives:

Understand perioperative risks, concerns, and pharmacologic indications for patients taking GLP-1 receptor agonists.
Identify how the FAST exam can be used in perioperative care, including in the emergency and/or trauma setting.
Discuss the evidence for pharmacological treatment of postoperative delirium.
Examine the optimal anesthetic cocktails for intraoperative and postoperative success with Cesarean delivery.
Discuss the changes that you could make to improve your practice as a result of attending the panel discussion.
Describe the challenges related to timely detection of perioperative stroke in high risk patients.
Indicate whether single or mixed agent management is preferable for NORA cases.
