Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) is organized by European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and will be held from Nov 20 - 22, 2026 at Aquila Atlantis Hotel, Heraklion, Crete, Greece.

Description:
A comprehensive course designed to educate and train doctors, hospital pharmacists, and healthcare providers interested in advancing their knowledge and skills in antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) and infection prevention and control (IPC). This course addresses the critical intersection between judicious antimicrobial use and effective infection control practices, emphasizing the importance of both aspects in combating antimicrobial resistance and reducing healthcare-associated infections.

Objectives:
Train and educate doctors, hospital pharmacists and healthcare providers interested in Antimicrobial Stewardship, on how to a) use appropriately antimicrobials in complicated infections, but also b) prevent and control infections, thus eliminating the need for the use of antimicrobials.
