Learning Objectives:
The purpose of the 2026 ASCRS Annual Scientific Meeting is to ensure high-quality patient care by advancing the science through research and education for prevention and management of disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus. At the conclusion of this meeting, participants should be able to:

• Discuss the most current evidence-based surgical approaches to colorectal cancer on the continuum from premalignant lesions to metastasis.  
• Recall scientific knowledge of the etiopathogenesis, prevention, and surgical treatment of benign colorectal diseases 
• Illistrate improved professionalism and practice management.
• Recognize how to optimize preoperative and postoperative care and appropriate management of postperative complications to improve surgical outcomes.
