This two and a half-day, course is designed to teach the components of the real world TMD evaluation, head and neck pathology, importance of posture and TMJ and cervical decompression. We will discuss comprehensive evaluation, head and neck radiographic evaluation and how to decompress the TMJ and recapture the disc, even if in a closed lock. We will also discuss how to help your patients eliminate poor posture and FHP in order to make your orthotic functional. You will also have the opportunity to bring your advanced cases to discuss potential approaches for resolution.

The Objectives of this Course are for the Participant to be Able to:

• Assess key components of a physiologic-based TMD practice
• Evaluate joint decompression and disc recapture techniques
• Develop plans for managing acute TMJ discomfort
• Apply stretching protocols to improve cervical mobility
• Interpret head and neck radiographs for diagnostic use
• Identify strategies for complex TMD case management
• Support the rationale for physiologic treatment approaches
• Prepare to address advanced TMD cases in daily clinical care
• Examine connections between overall health, TMD, and airway issues
• Discuss whole-health factors in diagnosis and care planning
• Capture and review physiologic and occlusal data during treatment
• Analyze scan data to support clinical decision-making
• Explore approaches to multi-symptom case management
