OVERVIEW
Urogynecology for the Advanced Practice Provider 2025 is organized by American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and will be held from Apr 24 - 26, 2025 at Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe pelvic anatomy relevant to pelvic floor disorders.
- Describe best practices in conducting a thorough pelvic exam.
- Understand pessary fitting and management.
- Be able to interpret urodynamic testing.
- Identify and explain non-surgical and surgical management for PFDs: pelvic organ prolapse, bowel and bladder incontinence.
- Be able to conduct patient counseling for PFDs.
- Understand female sexual dysfunction diagnosis, evaluation, and management.
- Understand recurrent UTI and bladder pain: diagnosis, evaluation and management.
- Be able to diagnose and manage common vulvar dermatoses, with the awareness of racial differences in assessment and diagnosis.
- Be able to diagnose, evaluate, and manage general pelvic pain and vulvodynia.
- Understand urogynecologic management considerations as it relates to menopausal status and oncologic history.
- Be able to assess and understand constipation / diarrhea / IBS
