OVERVIEW

The 19th Rocky Mountain Interventional Endoscopy Course is organized by University of Colorado (CU) Anschutz Medical Campus, American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and will be held from Sep 11 - 13, 2025 at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, Colorado, United States of America.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the recent advances in interventional endoscopic techniques using EUS and ERCP for management of pancreaticobiliary disorders. This will include review of best practices and quality indicators to optimize technical success and patient outcomes and minimizing adverse events.
  • Determine and implement best endoscopic techniques in endoscopic resection for premalignant and malignant disorders of the upper and lower GI tract in the context of published guidelines and clinical practice updates
  • Analyze and discuss strategies to minimize adverse events in interventional endoscopy and management of complications related to endoscopic procedures
  • Identify the impact of artificial intelligence platforms on routine clinical practice to improve recognition of neoplastic lesions and histology prediction
  • Integrate multidisciplinary strategies in the management of patients with Barrett’s related neoplasia and complex foregut disorders such as uncontrolled gastroesophageal reflux disease, motility disorders among others.
  • Determine and implement the role of endoscopic treatment options for gastrointestinal tract motility disorders and weight loss.
