Single Unit Implant Restorations Workshop is organized by British Dental Association (BDA) and will be held on Feb 28, 2025 at British Dental Association, London, England, United Kingdom.

Description:
This exciting and unique course has been developed for general dental practitioners who want to be able to restore single dental implants in their own practice.

What to Expect:
The course will be delivered through a series of specifically created on-demand lectures, which will prepare delegates for a face-to-face hands-on training day, which will provide exposure to and experience with three leading dental implant systems, encompassing both conventional and digital impression workflows.

The course will be delivered by an expert panel of speakers, each with considerable experience of placing and restoring implants.

The five hours and 30 minutes of on-demand lectures must be completed in advance of attending the practical training. Lectures will be available to view one-month prior to the practical training day.

Learning Objectives:

Understand common implant terminology
Patient selection and treatment planning
Develop an understanding of the complete treatment pathway
Become familiar with the necessary restorative implant componentry and it's use and limitations
Develop an understanding and incorporation of the digital workflow
Learn how to take and record dental impressions using a digital scanner
Learn how to restore an implant – what to look out for, what to do, what not to do and how to do it
Understand the essential role of dental laboratories
Learn how to restore a variety of different implant systems
Successfully seat a number of restorations and explore correct torquing, cement vs screw-retained restorations and finishing of the restorations
Identify and manage common implant-related complications with confidence
Develop a post-restoration care plan and protocol.
