Description:
This Continuing medical education activity is designed to bridge the practice gap existing in the treatment of esophageal disorders for those commonly seeing them (PCPs, general surgeons). Learners will be educated on the history of dysphagia, how to test, and therapies available, as well as its common causes and how to manage symptoms based on a patient’s cause. Understanding the history of the disease and what the disease can lead to as well as how to test for it is a critical aspect of this activity. Additionally, learners will understand common causes for the disease and how they can manage a patient’s symptoms and potential treatment options.
