APIC 2025 Annual Conference Learning Objectives:
The goals for APIC’s Annual Conference are for participants to share and discuss research findings in the fields of infection prevention and control and healthcare epidemiology, to exchange ideas and insights, and to network for collaboration, career and professional development.

In support of improving patient care, The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (APIC) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
CE Credits
Attendance of live events or review of recorded programs in their entirety and evaluation completion is a prerequisite for receiving CE credits. Evaluations for each session attended (whether live or on-demand) must be completed by September 30, 2025 to receive your certificate of completion.
After satisfying all evaluation requirements, a certificate of completion will be available.
CME: Continuing Medical Education
The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) designates this blended activity for a maximum of 82 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
CNE: Continuing Nursing Education
The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) designates this blended activity for a maximum of 82 nursing contact hours.
Infection Prevention Units (IPUs)
One Infection Prevention Unit (IPU) is defined as one hour of time spent on an educational experience. Attendees of the APIC 2025 Annual Conference may earn up to 10 IPUs for attending the conference live or virtually.
The conference content provides attendees with the opportunity to earn additional Infection Prevention Units (IPUs) for viewing the 60-minute on-demand sessions. Please note that IPUs are only provided for sessions that are a minimum of one hour, however, two 30-minute sessions can be combined for a total of one IPU.
