Acupuncture: Auriculotherapy and Adjunctive Therapies (Module 3 Only) 2025 is organized by Southeast Sports Seminars and will be held from Mar 15 - 16, 2025 at Fairfield Inn & Suites West Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Florida, United States of America.
Description:
This intensive course offers a holistic approach to tongue diagnosis and meridian studies in traditional Chinese medicine. Through 6 hours of online coursework, participants will explore tongue characteristics and their diagnostic criteria based on eight principles, augmented with case studies for a practical understanding. Comprehensive discussions will encompass antique point characteristics, their pathways, and various pivotal techniques like the guest-host and command points, including Back Shu, Front Mu, Luo connecting, and Ghost points. Emphasis will be placed on the Eight Principal Diagnosis, the factors of disease, the interplay between nature's imbalances and human health, and a deep dive into the Eight Extraordinary Meridians' theory.
During the live, hands-on portion of the course, specific acupoints for treating internal disorders like insomnia, constipation, and menstrual irregularities will be covered, followed by practical demonstrations on tongue diagnosis. The "Meridians II" module dedicates 18 hours to a thorough examination of the remaining twelve main meridians, focusing on BL, KD, PC, TW, GB, and LV, supported by hands-on lab sessions. Finally, 5 hours are reserved for an intensive practicum, allowing attendees to perfect point location and needle insertion techniques tailored to internal disorders.
Course Format:
Prior to each live, in-person course, you'll be required to complete an online course module between 4-6hrs in length. Within each module is a series of video lectures and quizzes to test your knowledge and mastery of the content.
