42nd Scientific Congress of Emergency Medicine is organized by Quebec Association of Emergency Physicians / Association des medecins d’urgence du Quebec (AMUQ) and will be held from Nov 10 - 13, 2025 at Hotel Bonaventure Montréal, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Description:
The theme that brings us together this year: Today's challenges, building tomorrow's urgency .
Since the pandemic, the role of emergency departments has changed significantly. Our emergency departments, designed to provide urgent care, must deal with an aging population and the increasing complexity of patient care. Emergency physicians must continue to provide efficient and relevant care, stay up-to-date, while preparing for a changing reality and the arrival of new technologies.
The challenges are numerous and complex. They must be approached with foresight. In order to make this transition to a resilient and accessible emergency service, it is essential that we take an active part in it and propose humane and innovative approaches. How can we adapt our practices to meet the challenges of the coming years while remaining an effective, efficient, and inclusive emergency service?
The members of the scientific committees have prepared a varied program with these issues in mind. Our featured speakers , Constance LeBlanc and Justin Morgenstern, will certainly be very inspiring in this regard. Our Quebec experts will also address these realities and help you identify strategies and solutions related to technological advances and the impact of climate change on our healthcare.
Come discuss with them the best medical care for your patients in order to maintain the population's safety net for urgent care.
