23rd Annual Surgical Trauma Nursing Conference is organized by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and will be held from Nov 20 - 21, 2025 at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

Description:
This is the 23rd year for this regional event. The program content is targeted to nurses and all healthcare professionals who care for traumatically injured children and those requiring surgical interventions. After attending this conference participants will report an increased knowledge related to caring for this patient population and an intent to change practice based on the latest evidence-based information provided.

Learning Outcomes:

90% of learners will self-report having new knowledge in the management of the traumatically injured child and those children requiring surgical interventions.
90% of learners will self-report having the knowledge to discuss the values that support effective multidisciplinary teams in pediatric surgical/trauma care.
90% of learners will self-report having the knowledge to describe current treatments and technological advances that decrease pediatric trauma and disability.
90% of learners will self-report having the knowledge to discuss how trauma affects the physical and emotional development of the pediatric patient.
