Description:
In this session, we will examine structural drives of child and adolescent health inequities and examine how interpersonal, institutional and structural experiences of discrimination exacerbate health inequities.

Objectives:

• Identify structural drives (i.e. racism, sexism, and cisheteropatriarchy) that contribute to disparities in access and quality of care for pediatric populations.
• Examine reports of health care discrimination in a pediatric population.
• Identify practice and policy solutions to address persistent inequities.
