Description:
Dreaming for the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People recounts the creation of life and renewal, mirroring the stories of ISAD and of the evolving landscape of atopic dermatitis research and treatment. This meeting gives occasion to recall these histories, to reflect on current challenges still faced at environmental, social, personal, and molecular levels, and to reconsider strategic future directions for eczema research and care. We will also highlight evolving understandings of risk determinants for AD and immunological pathways affecting AD development and persistence. The symposium will be valuable for all clinicians, researchers, residents, and students who wish to be current in atopic dermatitis research and management.
