10th Annual Baseball Sports Medicine: Game-Changing Concepts is organized by Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education (FORE) and will be held from Dec 03 - 05, 2025, at MLB's Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, New York City, New York, United States of America.

Overview:
We’re excited to welcome the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) as our partner for the 10th anniversary of Baseball Sports Medicine: Game-Changing Concepts.

To celebrate the 10-year milestone, the course expands to 3 days, bringing together an all-star faculty — many of whom are AOSSM members — to share cutting-edge insights on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of baseball-related injuries across all levels of play, such as:

• Shoulder injuries, including  rotator cuff tears, latissimus injuries, and SLAP tears
• Upper extremity nerve and vascular issues, including suprascapular nerve injury, aneurysms and thrombosis, and neurogenic TOS
• Non-UCL elbow injuries, including olecranon stress fractures, valgus extension overload, and ulnar nerve issues
• UCL injuries, including surgical techniques, outcomes, complications, and revision
• Batting injuries, including batter’s shoulder, hand, and wrist fractures, and oblique strain
• Knee, hip, spine, and hamstring issues, including FAI, athletic pubalgia, and ACL injuries

Ample time has been allotted during each session to give you the opportunity to ask the faculty questions. Be sure to come to the meeting with the questions you need answered to help enhance your practice!

Course Description:
Through a mix of didactic presentations, video and technique spotlights, and case-based discussions, the expert faculty will help attendees navigate key issues in the management of injuries in baseball athletes at all levels of play. They will offer practical, evidence-based solutions to diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating shoulder, elbow, and other baseball-related injuries.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Analyze epidemiologic trends in baseball injuries for professional, collegiate, and youth baseball players
• Integrate prevention strategies with their healthcare team(s) to improve musculoskeletal and medical health for baseball players
• Assess and apply surgical and non-surgical treatment recommendations and rehabilitation protocols for the management of essential musculoskeletal and medical conditions in baseball players.
