OVERVIEW

10th Anniversary of Frontiers in Upper Extremity Surgery is organized by Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education (FORE) and will be held from Nov 14 - 15, 2025 at FIVE Labs, Tampa, Florida, United States of America.

Course Description:
Through didactic lectures, case-based presentations, panel discussions, and surgical technique demos, the expert faculty of the 10th Annual Frontiers in Upper Extremity Surgery will cover a variety of essential topics, such as:

  • Surgical treatment and rehabilitation of tendon injuries, including flexor tendon, extensor tendon, and distal biceps repair
  • Nerve decompression techniques for the median, ulnar, and radial nerves
  • Management of injuries to the thumb MCP joint, thumb CMC joint, and distal radius

In addition, 2 hands-on lab sessions will give you the opportunity to practice surgical skills.

Through a mix of didactic lectures, case-based presentations, panel discussions, and surgical technique demos, the expert faculty will provide an evidence-based update on treatment options and outcomes for a variety of common and complex hand, wrist, and radioulnar joint disorders. In addition, 2 hands-on lab sessions will give attendees the opportunity to practice surgical skills.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate? surgical and non-surgical principles for managing common hand, wrist, and radioulnar joint conditions and injuries 
  • Implement ?enhanced management of fractures and arthritis  
  • Employ ?current trends and techniques in reconstruction of the hand, wrist, and radioulnar joint 
  • Apply? current concepts for the management of common disorders of the hand, wrist, and radioulnar joint 
  • Develop ?strategies for the treatment of complex hand, wrist, and radioulnar joint conditions and injuries
