TIARA — Training in Implementation: Actionable Research Approaches is organized by University of Missouri Extension (MU Extension) and will be held from Jan 29, 2024 - Jan 29, 2025 at Kauffman Foundation Conference Center, Kansas City, Missouri, United States of America.

Description:
Translating evidence into practice is a complex process that often spans several years or decades. Recognizing the need to urgently act in the quickly evolving healthcare landscape, TIARA provides physicians, nurses, pharmacists, students/trainees, researchers, and other healthcare professionals with the implementation science and quality improvement knowledge needed to prioritize more rapid adoption of evidence-based practices.

Option 1

  • Live Virtual - TIARA Certificate Course
  • Modules featuring a number of implementation and quality improvement experts will be recorded and available online.
  • The course starts January 29th, 2024.
  • Every other week will also feature a live “learning lab” from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. CT via Zoom. 
  • The live “learning lab” sessions are:
  • February 7, 21
  • March 6, 20
  • April 3, 17
  • May 1

May 1 is the final session, which will be available Zoom and/or in person at the Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City with lunch provided, a keynote presentation by implementation science expert, Anne Sales, PhD, RN, and a TIARA Scholar Certificate ceremony.

  • Start and complete the 7 modules  (Canvas Course) online at your own pace.
